GREG WILSON RETURNING TO SUGAR
02.02.10Legendary English DJ and re-edit maestro Greg Wilson is returning to his Adelaide home Sugar on Thu Mar 4.
The early Hacienda resident and champion of electro funk is a DJ and edit innovator. After retiring in1984, Greg returned as a globally revered DJ almost 20 years later and then dropped his acclaimed Credit To The Edit CD. Greg recently released the second in this series and as any DJ or dancefloor enthusiast knows, Greg’s edits are definitely where it’s at. Greg is the second in a series of brilliant Northern Brit DJs heading to Sugar, as Manchester’s Trus’Me plays Sugar on Sat Feb 5 and Glasgow’s brilliant Optimo DJs play Sugar on Fri Mar 5. Seems many mornings will be lost on the dancefloors of Sugar this February and March.

Optimo's 2006 Essential Mix is one of my all-time fave DJ mixes. I've listened to it at least once a month over three years. It is fucking awesome everything from Neu! to Prince to LCD - it's mad.
