PHAROAHE MONCH ON HIS RECORD LABEL WAR MEDIA

If you mix Pharoahe Monch’s first album Internal Affairs with his last album Desire, you have his upcoming LP WAR… to be released on his own label next year.

“We’re working with a couple of artists right now. This is who we’ve been working with and associated with all along. King Reign as an artist from Toronto that we’ve been working with and Mela Machinko that we’ve been working with all along since Desire. I think WAR Media is not traditional. It’s about standing by your word. It’s about honesty. Even if we release records now, it’s not going to be the way it was done back then.”

Pharoahe Monch plays at The Gov Mon Dec 7.
